The register is designed for acquirers who are actively deploying capital into UK private companies and want to be found by owners who are not publicly for sale. It is not a listings portal, an intermediary panel or a data provider.

What we expect before a mandate is published

Every mandate is reviewed by our team against four standing tests: funding position, investment thesis, adviser standing where relevant, and readiness to transact. Mandates that cannot evidence all four are declined without publication.

Once approved, a mandate is set to a consistent structure so an owner can assess the fit against sector, scale, geography, structure and timing without wading through marketing language.

What happens when an owner responds

The owner writes to us in confidence, quoting the mandate reference. We review the fit, share a redacted outline with you, and coordinate a first conversation under a standard confidentiality expectation. Your contact details are never published on the register.

Fees and terms

Publication is by invitation on standard terms. The register is not a success-fee introduction platform: we do not take equity, and we do not participate in transaction economics between buyer and seller. Owners are never charged.
