BusinessWanted.com is an acquisition-interest and market-intelligence platform. It publishes a reviewed register of confidential acquisition requirements from acquirers who have been reviewed and approved by our team, and enables business owners, shareholders and their advisers to make discreet, confidential contact with us in respect of those requirements.

BusinessWanted.com does not provide legal, tax, investment or financial advice, and nothing on the site should be understood as such. You should take your own professional advice before acting on anything you find on the site.

Each listing in the register describes a confidential acquisition requirement. Listings are not offers capable of acceptance, invitations to treat in the technical legal sense, or promises to transact. We do not guarantee that any acquirer will proceed with any particular opportunity, make an offer, complete a transaction, or engage on terms acceptable to any owner. Any transaction that ultimately proceeds does so on terms negotiated privately between the relevant parties and their advisers.

When you contact us or submit information through the site, you agree that:

• the information you submit is accurate, complete and lawful to share;
• you have the authority to submit it (including any authority required from the client, business or organisation to which it relates);
• you will not impersonate any other person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation; and

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the site through a standard browser for your own legitimate business purposes; all other rights are reserved.

The site may include links to third-party websites or reference third-party services. Those resources are not under our control and we are not responsible for their content, security or availability. Any dealings with a third party are solely between you and that third party.

BusinessWanted.com is designed to protect the confidentiality of both sides. We do not publish the identity of business owners in the register, and we do not approach owners about a specific opportunity without their written authority. Where you send us information marked or plainly intended to be confidential, we treat it as such and share it only where reasonably necessary to progress the matter you have raised.

The site is provided on an "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not warrant that the site, its content or any transaction it may lead to will be error-free, uninterrupted, complete, accurate, current or fit for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we (including our directors, officers, employees and agents) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, data or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the site or reliance on any listing. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the site in any twelve-month period is limited to £100.

These terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any such dispute or claim.
